In addition to performing with the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Tyler Mack is Principal Timpanist of the Marin Symphony, a position he has held since 1984. He has also served as Principal Timpanist of the Oakland Symphony since 2004. Additional performance credits include the San Francisco Symphony and the Mendocino Music Festival Orchestra, to name a few.

Raised in Oakland, CA, Mr. Mack is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and studied with Barry Jekowsky, Peggy Lucchesi, and Jack Van Geem.
